Japanese IT solutions and service provider NTT Data Group has announced the acquisition of FirstApex, an enterprise-wide IT solutions and services company in the insurance space. The Japanese company acquired 79.7 per cent stake in the latter. FirstApex, that has developed four end-to-end products using J2EE technology, has implemented the packages in Singapore, Japan, Korea, China and India, and hopes the alliance would help grow the company at a much larger scale.
